PITSS GmbH was founded in April 1999 in Wolfratshausen. In addition to the head office located in the south of Munich, the company also has offices in Stuttgart and Dresden. PITSS GmbH combines many years' experience of major projects and ORACLE technologies, gleaned through numerous staff who were previously managers of Baan, Peoplesoft, IBM and Oracle and whom we have been fortunate enough to encourage to join our team over the years.

This tremendous wealth of experience, together with tried-and-tested expertise in the development of FORMS, provided the basis for the launch of our PITSS.CON product, which has since grown to become the company's core product.

PITSS.CON is a universal tool for the efficient migration, editing and maintenance of FORMS applications. Used within migration projects (from any starting version to the required release), this tool offers impressive functionality thanks to its automated processes, especially in terms of cost-effectiveness, combined with astonishingly fast implementation at the lowest imaginable risk of error. Further down the line too, PITSS.CON also offers tangible advantages for the development of further applications. These advantages can translate into an average increase in efficiency of 30% when regarded in the context of all workstations equipped with ORACLE DEVELOPER.

The roots of PITSS.CON were first laid down back in 1999, during a complex migration project from ORACLE FORMS 3 to 6i. In order to make such a package of challenges possible, an approach that was revolutionary for its time was chosen, using tool-based migration on base of the Forms API interface. Following the successful implementation of this project, the independent product development was finally born in 2000: PITSS.CON.

Today, PITSS.CON is one of the leading international software solutions for users of ORACLE FORMS. This phenomenon also highlights the solution's status as an official ORACLE ISV, together with the close cooperation with and support from ORACLE at sales and consulting level.

As an authorised ORACLE partner, one of PITSS GmbH's other areas of focus is the marketing of licences for the entire ORACLE product range. For migration projects in particular, PITSS GmbH delivers an in-depth analysis and provides consulting services on the current licence status and develops optimised licensing concepts based on up-to-date, more cost-effective models.
