Oracle Forms developers with great interest in PITSS.CON at ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2008

New Orleans (LA) / USA, June 23, 2008 – June 14th to 18th PITSS, the Oracle Forms Company, participated at Kaleidoscope 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana. With more than 630 atten- dees from across the globe, insights from numerous Oracle developers and managers, hundreds of educational sessions, and various networking opportunities with Oracle Principal Product Manager Grant Ronald and other Oracle Forms luminaries.

PITSS was a Platinum sponsor and shared the limelight with Oracle, and Dulcian. Again, it was confirmed that Oracle Forms applications are widely deployed in many large and medium- sized enterprises and organizations in the US. There is a wide interest in organizations wanting to preserve their investment in Oracle Forms and developers. During this show it was very evident that the Forms developers are heavily investigating the best alternatives for forms migration and development for their organizations.

PITSS delivered two Presentations. The first one was “Forms to SOA” presented by Andreas Gaede (Managing Director, PITSS). The second PITSS presentation “Migrating a Large Forms/Reports 6i Application to 10g - Challenges and Opportunities” presented by Andreas Gaede (Managing Director, PITSS) and Azeemuddin Khaja (Senior Software Analyst/Developer, General Dynamics) with a Keynote by Grant Ronald (Oracle Group Product Manager). Both were well received and the interaction and questions were on target with the needs and concerns of the Forms developers present at the conference.

As usual, the PITSS booth visitors were amazed at the powerful PITSS.CON tool feature set. The booth attendees were very friendly and knowledgeable. “Not only did we have many great conversations but some of the developers were giving us mind teasing puzzles to solve by the next day.” declares PITSS America LLC Sales Director Joseph Nagrant.
