RUAG Aerospace migrates Oracle Forms application with PITSS.CON

Wessling, 28.11.2007 – The aerospace company RUAG Aerospace is migrating its IT system, developed in Forms, from Forms 6 cs to Web Forms 10g. PITSS was able to successfully set up the Forms migration project, involving some 80 Forms, as part of a three-day workshop at RUAG Aerospace.

RUAG Aerospace, together with its sister companies RUAG Ammotec, RUAG Electronics and RUAG Land Systems, is part of RUAG, a billion-dollar US holding. As well as its headquarters in Emmen, the aerospace company operates 12 plants in Switzerland and two in Germany. With a workforce of around 2,700, the company achieves annual sales of approximately US$ 440 million. The development, manufacture, assembly and maintenance of structural components, as well as the maintenance and improvement of aircraft, helicopters, drones, guided missiles and air defence systems are among RUAG Aerospace’s main areas of activity.
