PITSS and IQ Business Group awarded an upgrade project at Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market

Johannesburg (South Africa), 28.04 2009 – Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market ( JFPM ) takes decision to upgrade their Oracle Forms based application from Forms 6 client server to Web Forms 10g by using the solution PITSS.CON. At the end of a public tender process the innovative solution PITSS.CON from the international acting Forms specialist PITSS GmbH has been awarded to realize the project in cooperation with IQ Business Group. After project realization PITSS.CON will be used for continuous support of the ongoing development process based on the PITSS.CON modules PITSS.CON Maintenancen & Development, PITSS.CON Applications Analyses and PITSS.CON Source Control.

  The Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market (JFPM) is South Africa´s major centre for the marketing of fresh produce. The JFPM was established on its current site in September 1974. Per year 1,000 000 tons of fruit and vegetable is sold at JFPM and the turnover for the last financial year exceeded R 2,8 billion.
