Oracle and PITSS launch the German tour of their EMEA roadshow entitled ''Forms to SOA'' in Stuttgart

Stuttgart, 18 April 2008 – After calling at Vienna, the EMEA roadshow entitled “Open Your Oracle Forms Application to the SOA World” organised by Oracle and PITSS is now on tour in Germany. The first of four events was held on 15th April 2008 at Oracle Germany in Stuttgart. With Upgrade & Integrate from Oracle and Prepare & Share from PITSS, Oracle and PITSS displayed their hand-in-hand SOA strategy for Oracle Forms customers.

As part of the PITSS.CON Live Demonstration, PITSS Managing Director Andreas Gaede presented the new PITSS.CON feature “Application Engineering”. The efficiency increases illustrated for Forms applications in terms of the reusability of processes and the integration of web services are just a small proportion of the possibilities for Forms applications in the SOA world. Anyone who migrates their Forms application with PITSS.CON to Web Forms is ideally equipped to move ahead in the SOA world too with PITSS.CON.

The Oracle and PITSS Roadshow in Stuttgart was completely booked up, with the concept of staying with Oracle Forms and moving towards SOA enjoying tremendous support. In a Forms quiz, delegates were also able to put their expertise to the test and win a fantastic USB stick from Oracle.

The “Open Your Oracle Forms Application to the SOA World” series of events will next be held on:

• 23.04.2008 in Düsseldorf
• 24.04.2008 in Berlin
• 29.04.2008 in Munich
