PITSS tests Oracle Forms 11 at Oracle in the USA
Redwood Shores (CA), 6.11.2007 – Between the 29th of October to the 2nd of November 2007, several Oracle experts and Oracle partner companies, including PITSS, were invited to Redwood Shores (CA) to the Forms 11 testing sessions held as part of the Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Beta program. Over 50 technical managers, product managers and developers used this excellent opportunity to learn about newly-implemented features such as improved BPEL integration within the Forms Builder and exchange views on future versions. Also present, representing Oracle, were Jan Carlin, Principal Product Manager Oracle Forms, Navneet Singh, Principal Product Manager Oracle Reports and Heidi Buelow, Principal Product Manager SOA Suite Technologies. The Participants from partner companies were delighted about their integration into this one-week intensive testing session.
Following a brief introduction to the new architecture and new functions of Oracle 11g, the several-day, intensive testing session began. All in all, the new Oracle Forms Release 11 is more compact and will offer improved integration between the components together with a wealth of impressive new features. Innovative improvements to the Oracle Reports Builder will allow the familiar challenges of everyday work to be resolved as effectively as possible. As for the participants, their interest was tremendous in the SOA ideas that open up completely new possibilities thanks to their combination with Oracle Forms.
The forthcoming Oracle Forms 11 release and its new raft of functions can thus now be awaited with excitement and anticipation.
